The Big C -originally titled The C Word - stars Laura Linney as a suburban mother who attempts to find humor in her cancer diagnosis. Linney will also serve as executive producer of the series, which will feature Oliver Platt.
After Paul (Oliver Platt) catches Cathy and Lenny (Idris Elba) in flagrante delicto in the garden, he gets so sloppy drunk at the office dinner party celebrating his new promotion that teenaged son Adam (Gabriel Basso) must drive him home, which ends in disaster.
synopsis of the Episode:
Cathy learns from her doctor that she was not accepted for a clinical trial. Meanwhile, Andrea and Adam get into a fight, Paul finds something out and Sean has a surprise for Marlene.
