From the beaches of Malibu to the streets of East Los Angeles, Southland is a fast-moving drama that will take viewers inside the lives of cops, criminals, victims and their families. Aired for 7 episodes and then canceled by NBC. TNT has acquired the rights to these episodes and will begin airing them in January 2010
Summary of the Episode:
Officer John Cooper gives his partner several tips on how to be a police officer, including the proper method to make a death notification and to arrest a suspected drug user. Detective Bryant stays with his partner's family as he sorts out his marital dilemma. Detectives Adams and Ochoa deal with a drug-related murder case that involves an unorthodox suspect.
