Its a city on a mountain top 1,500 above sea level and is very popular because of its mild climate. Mansion House, an official residence of the President of the Philippines can be found here as well as Camp John Hay, the former R&R facility of the Americans which is now a world class resort.

Subic Bay

Subic Bay is a bay forming part of Luzon Sea on the west coast of the island of Luzon in Zambales about 100 kilometers northwest of Manila Bay. Its shores were formerly the site of a major United States Navy facility named U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay, it is now the location of an industrial and commercial area known as the Subic Bay Freeport Zone under the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.

Banaue Rice Terraces. The Ifugao Province in norther Luzon boasts of these rice terraces that are 2000 years old. It was used to be called the eight wonder of the world. UNESCO has already declared it as a world heritage site.

Sagada. Mountain Province in northern Luzon. Famous for its hanging coffins, a traditional way of burying the dead.

Bohol Island. Located in the Visayas, this island is famous for its Chocolate Hills. It also has white beaches and coral reefs that is popular with scuba divers.

Boracay Island. Located in the northern tip of the Province of Aklan about 300 kilometers away from Manila City. It is lined with palm trees and boast of sparkling white sand and clear blue waters on its shores. This place is a very popular hangout of showbiz personalities in the Philippines.

Samal Island is an island city now officially known as The Island Garden City of Samal, or IGaCos. It is one of the cities that comprises Metropolitan Davao (Metro Davao) in the province of Davao del Norte, Philippines.

Anilao Proper and Anilao East are two barangays in the municipality of Mabini, Batangas, the Philippines. They are located south of Manila on the large island of Luzon, at the southern end of the Calumpang Peninisula facing Maribacan Island.

Taal Volcano. Taal volcano is an active volcano that lies in the center of Taal Lake, a freshwater lake in Batangas about 50 kilometers away from Manila City.


Mount Pinatubo

Mount Pinatubo. Located in Luzon, this active volcano is bordered by Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga provinces. It erupted in 1991 which affected the whole world and was dubbed as the second largest explosion in of the twentieth century, next to explosion of Novarupta in Alaska in 1912.
